People are irritated that One Direction fans are only starting to like John Mayer bc one of the band members said their favorite song was “Free Fallin’”….. well, while I do love that version, here’s a news flash, kiddos: that’s not even John Mayer’s song.
It’s a gorgeous Tom Petty song written in 1989, the year I was born :)

Side note: I had NO idea following a bunch of preppy blogs would simultaneously fill my dash with countless pictures of these boys. I guess I’m out of the age range for their target audience, but I do have a 17 year old sister who I usually hear about these things from, and even SHE’s not on the bandwagon. If it weren’t for tumblr, I doubt I’d even know who they were… and I definitely couldn’t name any of their songs if I tried. I’m assuming this is y’all’s version of NSYNC (or BSB for others… I was always a Justin Timberlake girl myself) so I guess I’ll just wait for it to pass.
They just all look like they need a haircut.
